Monitoring is based on idea of endpoints. Each server (website) can have multiple monitoring endpoints. Basic data like whois, DNS, IP(s) and SSL (TLS) are detected from hostname.

Domain name protection

Data substitution of DNS and Whois records, or domain theft is common issue for nowadays. When traffic is rerouted to 3rd-party or ownership is stolen - it's too late to try to fix it. Only way is to prevent such cases.

ostr.io will help to control all suspicious changes in DNS, Whois and SSL (TLS) certificate. Once any changes is occurred you will receive instant notification via SMS or email. Also it will remind about upcoming expiration date of Domain itself and of SSL (TLS) certificate.

As website owner you're free to set notification to be sent to administrator or any other responsible person for server/website maintenance.
